    If "Few of them know Greek", the language I suppose, how can they be Greek scholars? Always rely on translations? Maybe I'm reading Mr. Shaw out of context.

    I can't say for sure, sir, as I've not read Shaw, but I suspect what he means is that Greek is a much easier language to profess knowledge of than to actually know.
